English Muffin Toasting Bread
1 1/2t Salt
1/4t Baking Soda
1C Milk/Butter Milk (Butter Milk Substitute = 1C Milk and 1T Vinegar or Lemon Juice)
2T Olive Oil
Grease Bread Pan. Grease with corn meal (optional)
Combine Dry Ingredients in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
Combine Wet Ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and heat in microwave until warm to the touch. About 15-30 seconds.
Combine the Wet Ingredients into the Dry Ingredients. Mix for 1 minute.
Pour mix into prepared pan and let raise for 1 hour.
15-20 minutes before bread is done raising Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bake for 22-26 minutes.
Notes: The bread is softer out of the oven but when toasted comes out nice and crispy.
