Recipe: Creamy Lemon Ice Cream
3T Powdered Milk
1C Sour Cream
1/4C Corn Syrup (You can substitute with sugar)
2T Corn Starch
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp -1T Lemon Extract
Mix the dry ingredients in a small bowl and set aside add and mix the texture ingredients and set aside in a small boil
Add the wet ingredients in a pot and heat over medium high heat until simmer
Add the dry ingredients to the simmering wet ingredients and cook 2 minutes while stirring.
Add the Texture slurry to the simmering ice cream base and cook for one more minute.
Remove from stove top and strain into a bowl.
Place the ice cream base bowl into another dish of ice water
Add the flavoring and let cool to room temperature
Once it is cooled to room temp place in the fridge and let it cure for a few hours to overnight.
When ready follow ice cream maker instructions to mix
